A score tells you how you did. Understanding why you lost the marks tells you what to do next. That is why we do not just return a mark: we explain why every answer lost marks, and what to improve.
Feedback is organised by topic and question type, so every next step is specific.

The answer was reasonable, but lost marks in the way you explained it, from misreading the question to missing a step, using the wrong method, or not answering exactly what was asked.
Time management
You understood what to do, but could not complete it effectively within the time available. Because your mock is timed through the portal, we can show where exam pressure cost you marks and what to practise next.
Most students respond to every lost mark the same way: by rereading their notes. But that only fixes the first pile. The split tells you which student you are right now, and it usually changes from exam to exam. The aim is not to make every answer perfect. It is to make it clear what to work on next.

- IB prices are per paper. A full IB subject is usually three papers.
- TOEFL and IELTS speaking is submitted as a recording rather than a live interview. It is marked against the same descriptors, but it is not a perfect substitute for the real interactive test, and we would rather say so.
- The IB Math placement test is a diagnostic, not a past paper. It exists to answer one question: AA or AI, Higher or Standard.
